My partner seen this place while be was working nearby and told me about it, knowing that it was situated right near the active depot and had onsite security ,it seemed risky but luckily it was quite a peaceful explore.
Griesons Coaches are still active and I believe this is the part of the site that is pretty much the scrap.
I've always had a thing for old buses and trains, had a post apocalyptic feel, seeing all the old rusty and overgrown weeds on the buses, walking about the site, around 60 buses, some there from the late 90s.
The buses and coaches are old school buses and travel coaches. You could see how old there were by the old ashtrays in the seats.
No idea what will happen to the buses, they just seem to be left rotting away.

Nice report. Great coverage. Good shots. Looks like from the comments I will have to research bus types, as I've an old bus graveyard near me, just waiting til lockdown is over to have a proper nose. I can see big old red buses, that bring back memories .

Guess they will no longer see service. But in the day, they have helped people out. Doing the shopping, trips to the cost etc. Know they are giving shelter to all the beasties in the area.

I love that dinky little gearstick, if that's what it is, in the middle steering wheel shot.
