Heres a little bit of information of my most recent explore -
Buxton Browne Farm is located in the village of Downe, built in 1931 as a surgical research centre by the Royal College of Surgeons (RCS). In the 1980s, the farm caused controversy because of its use of vivisection techniques, and in August 1984 it was raided by anti-vivisection activists.
Visited with Urbankitty and a non forum member.
A perfectly timed visit for the first day of our heat wave! It made for some amazing shadow and sunlight shots, and a fun explore all round. Its currently being used as a dumping ground for the Darwin Museum at the moment, so lots of complete random items to look through.
Aaaaaaand go go go photos!
Welcome to the farm!
Do we want to know what this was used for?
Green fades to black...
Yummy!
Run away while you still can!
Thanks for taking a gander!
