Well I suppose it was going to happen sooner or later but I was in the area this morning and thought i'd check the entrance. Its been welded before (twice) and no doubt "un-welded" by the local students who've been using it as a party area, and fair play to them it was a pretty good spot for partying 
However, where the entrance manhole once was there is now this:
Sad times.
Looks like the shaft has been completely filled with earth. I'd call that vandalism personally.
