The Flagstaff Complex was a largely industrial area of the garrison, once home to the 'Defence Clothing and Textile Agency Scientific and Technical Division'. However, i found evidance of many other uses. There were several older admin buldings, 1930s and 1970s industrial blocks, older lab buildings, a court room, garages, even a random sports hall...
I must admit, as i was expecting the area was very well stripped but the buildings were quite interesting in themselves. It also contained the best find of the garrison yet, one of the best collections of old maps and plans ive ever seen detailing all areas of the garrison over pretty much the whole of its lifespan. There was also a lage amount of general OS maps dating back the 1930s and plans of military firing ranges and other military randomness in eastern england.
You get the idea
