Information - Cults limestone mine, total passage length.

I've made an estimate of what the total length of passages in this mine is and it appears to be about 40km/25miles. This was done using the official mine plan, using the plan scale in meters to measure roughly the majority of the passages mapped. Ive had to guess at the unmapped areas which are marked as 'old waste' on the map but still include many accessible tunnels.

I guess a tag along to this is that the mine descends a total of 55m from the highest entrance altitude to the deepest section of the mine in the east.

They could surely have built a drainage level given how high up the hill the mine is but it was probably not worth it for a relatively cheap material like limestone.
