The Smith Anderson Paper Mill at Fettykill was the last mill in Scotland to use waste paper as a raw material. The company had been producing paper at the Fettykil Mills site in Leslie, Fife for 146 years until it closed in June 2006 with the loss of 106 jobs.
The mill is great, it has it's own Hydro plant for electricity, unfortunately for us this free supply means there are more than a few alarms still working. Access deeper into the plant was stopped by sheer number of alarms and security joining the party, but despite him looking straight at us, we used our l33t ninja invisibility skills to escape.
Lots of rusty catwalk fun to be had
Health & Safety reccommend red, and we took their advice and stayed alert. It might look like it, but Rooks ISN'T carrying a big spanner in her hand!
