History
Flo Selecta or more correctly “the northern relief culvert” commences at Markeaton Park, near to the confluence of the Markeaton and Mackworth brooks.
Each brook has its own inlet spillway, with a weir that overflows during periods of high flows.
Flows from these inlets converge, and are then taken by the relief culvert eastwards for 2.2 km through the suburbs of Derby, to an outfall with the Derwent in Darley Park.

Second time down here and again organised by @Punk. Thanks mate. It was good to catch up with the few I knew and to meet a few new faces, @The Kwan, @Urban_Tomb_Raider, @jsp77 and a couple of others I think who’s names I missed.
First time out with my replacement film camera. Not great shots but an improvement on the last lot.
A couple with the DSLR
