Fantastic report!! Very jealous, I’ve got a place close to me I’m trying to crack, looks just like this place. Britain from above is a great site, nice to see you’ve used it to show some history of the place

The "heaters" are likely to be switchable ballast resistance banks for carbon arc light sources in the projection room, perhaps for the two Stelmar followspots. The switches are to tweak the arc current to match the rods if changing suppliers or batches.

Ah yeah that makes sense. Thanks for clarifying.

managed to miss this report first time round, it’s very local to me and one I’ve tried to get into without luck, even asking the workmen a few years back to no avail!
cool to see what it’s like though, quite a compact theatre but the colours I love too, the angle from the back row of the seats is a great pic, as is the projector shot.
