This Culvert takes the Gore brook round and over Gorton Reservoir.
We started at the upstream end and went a bit further upstream. There were some new looking sections from recent building works.
Going downstream:
Sidepipe:
First Sign of foliage:
Another sidepipe:
The forest thickens:
Frog! Was nice to see something other than root surviving down there
You could hear the fall's roar echoing from quite some way away:
Side pipe joining at the bottom of the falls,
We turned round at this point as took so long wandering down, but will return to see the larger falls downstream. Was a really nice culvert with lovely brickwork, especially at the confluences. Good if your ever up for a wander in the jungle!
