Guildford Possible bunker.

Hi everyone, I used to work in Guildford years ago, I noticed that just off Leapale road, between CEX and Five and lime pub there is a huge cover possible 10ftx10ft in a spiral shape.

Does anyone know what this is for? For some reason I always imagined that it is for a RGHQ or an air raid shelter.

Looks like a vehicle turntable?

You see them from time to time in goods/ delivery areas, here's one I took in the Forum Shopping Centre, Chester.
