Question - Information Request - Blantyre House

Does anybody know about HMP Blantyre house? I recently learnt that this prison local to me officially closed in 2019. After looking at the Tunbridge Wells borough council website it appears this site was suggested for large development plans but rejected in 2021, I have not checked the site out but was wondering if anybody knew if it's possible to get in + if it's being used for anything. Thanks

Yeah I am planning on doing that, local yet not accessible by public transport and I don't have a car that's why I haven't been to look yet

Yeah I was thinking it might just be a case of getting a ladder and going over the fence down by the woods, I've never been the first to get to a place before so I'm assuming more difficult but more rewarding

So finally mobile again just been to check it out. There were two members of security sitting one on the inside and one on the outside of the front gate, relatively friendly just said I was having a look around and they said that's fine. Very easy to access the prison from the back via diverting off a footpath. Only issue is the massive (looked 25-30foot tall to me) anti-climb fence surrounding the entire perimeter, there's gates which have been welded shut by the looks of it and some bits of the fence are bent but definitely nothing you can squeeze through, Only saw cameras round the front and the buildings looked in fairly good condition but not used

I tried getting inside last year as I'm only down the road but security inside and cars parked there as usual sadly.
