Ironbridge 'B' Power Station - June 2016
Introduction
I was about to pop up a report from Ironbridge, in my usual style, just before TBM put his excellent report up from here last week. I was put off a little by this as it seems almost pointless putting up a report straight after sombody else has, covering the same areas on the same site, right? I was going to leave it, like I have done my Redcar reports, but I've decided to try something a little different instead. It might not be everyones cup of tea, I'm not even sure if it's my cup of tea yet but I thought I'd throw a few of my favourite pics from here together in a short gallery of six images.
I've spent a while properly black and white processing these images and gotten a few prints done, which isn't something I do usually been a fan of colour photography, but personally I'm quite impressed with how these have come out, so I thought they'd be worth a share! It's nothing that we haven't seen already from an exploring point of view, just a different take on the site for once.
I can't remember where I read it, but somebody, somewhere said that this place could quite possibly become the next 'Inverkip' which seems possible, so, before images of this place becomes too saturated, here's a few from me...
And don't worry, this is a one off, my future reports will be straight back to my traditional style, and in full colour!
Finally, a big thanks to @AndyK for giving me heads up on what's what before arriving on site

Ironbridge 'B' Unit 2 - 500MW

Unit 2 Turbine
Unit 1 seen within the beautiful glass turbine hall at Ironbridge 'B'
Unit 2 Boiler
I've got plenty more from here, and to be fair, I imagine I'll be returing. It's a really nice station is Ironbridge, one of my favourites for sure.
I hope you liked this short album anyway, and if not tough shit really, it's only a one off!
Cheers for reading,
TAW
