Had an odd child deja-vu when looking at your pictures and I realised I have been here before. I must have been very young haha, nice work man

They used to host festivals at this site when I was a kid. One called ‘Faery fest’, and another called ‘Lowender’(I think). Absolutely great childhood memories!

Colliford lake used to have a small outdoor mini golf course, outdoor demon drop slides/zipline area , forest obstacle course, a medium size pond with swan paddle boats on it, an aviary, cafe/gift shop and of course a stage with live music during the festivals.

The kids kingdom was the 2 indoor play areas, conjoined by a winding corridor, containing a display of a stuffed black panther behind glass portraying the legendary ‘Beast of Bodmin moor’. (Which I would run past in sheer terror) There were also information panels relating to the sightings of big cats on Bodmin moor.

This place was awesome! Hoping I can find some photos from back when the place was running. Will scour through my old pictures when I get a chance.
