Le Vele di Scampia in Naples, Italy, is a brutalist residential complex built in the 1960s-70s with sail-shaped buildings. Initially aimed at communal living, it faced neglect and became a hub for crime, including Camorra mafia activities, with 80 mafia war murders. Its not being demolished, apart from one building. It was only abandoned last year, but looks like it was a decade ago. We only did one block but it took hours, they are huge. Even for brutalist this is brutal.
