Report - Llanmynech ROC Post - Montgomeryshire - September 2015

1991 Closure. The Post sits in a high ridge of land behind a large house, close to the English border with Shropshire. The green paint is flaking badly and the dome on the vent shaft indicates this was a Master Post. Since previous reports the Battleships have been cut off and the post is now secured with a chain and modern padlock. After lots of driving around we managed to track down the owners but they weren't home.

A brick built aircraft posts stands nearby in good condition.
