Report - Long lost zoo (Haigh Hall Zoo) - Wigan - 2018

Not sure if this is on here. This zoo has been closed for some time now and is extremely over grown. It's not a big place and I think it realy has been forgotten about.

It's the old haigh hall zoo that closed in 1994 and has stayed relatively untouched

Haha yes it is I wish I'd made that my title now there's more than my rubbish pictures show. Also this is how you get into the abandoned model village that I'm going to make my next thread about

Yeah there was one from 1967-2004. They used it as a zombie zoo in 2016. The cages are still there but there were dogs around there when some people tried to look around

true mate they have the old knightmare trains in the zoo (the rollercoaster from camelot) why they took them and broke them on the way is beyond me but still a sight to see saying that we made a lucky breakaway dogs where on site time we left

yea cages and a educational centre and the zombie things not much tho you can find old pleasureland stuff back there like signs for the old cyclone rollercoaster
