Looking for Information on gothic locations

I'm trying to find places with a Gothic vibe to them like churches of all kinds, old dark stone houses and ruins.
I'm trying to find locations within a 2 hour (ish radius of Bristol so any help is greatly appreciated!

Spend 10 minutes looking through google maps and you wont have a shortage of locations, especially in Bristol. Also would you be travelling by helicopter to and from locations?
