There isn't too much info on the the Low Moor Beck but it seems to originate to the south of Bradford, meanders through Low Moor and Oakenshaw and meets up with the Spen Beck near Hunsworth.
T'was a nice little mooch upstream from Victoria Park up to Low Moor with a bit of everything along the way
At the start is a nice stone arch and tunnel which is finished at the end as brickwork with some tumbling steps then straight into what seems like miles of RCP...along the way and as it passes under the railway it changes to some old stonework and there is a couple of nice brick sections here and there, one junction in particular is nicely crafted with some lovely curved brickwork where an incoming line is blanked off.
Eventually it all comes to an end at a junction where two incoming 2 foot RCP's join........I draw the line at 2footers ...bit too small for me !!!!!!
Starts here
At this point there is small open section next to the railway, clearly visible from the train window, and on one occasion years ago as I passed on the train there was a lad standing on the banking side looking into the drain, obviously checking it out for a mooch.....got me wondering recently it could have been someone on here at 28...ring a bell with anyone
Thanks for lookin
