Report - Markeaton interceptor (flo Selecta), Derby April 17

[The Kwan]

Thanks to KMPunk for the invite and it was nice to meet some old faces again like JuJu and Ali and some new ones like Yorrick and JSP and Lost Explorer and some others too.

I have wanted to see this for a little while so was glad to go along,
Constructed in 1938 and is about one and a half miles long and takes water from the Markeaton basin across Derby and out into the River Derwent, It has a luvverly dual railed infall and a few nice features along the way before plopping out into the river Derwent.

Hope that girl got home okay on her slow puncture, I personally think it was a ploy and if we were not with you she would have bundled you in the boot and kidnapped you

She was only ten minutes from home where hubbie was waiting for the car
