i knew i wasnt finished with the docks just yet it has a lot more to offer when you dig deep id seen this many times from the 6 faced clock and it looked like it need further investigation to be honest it didnt dissapoint i thought it wasnt the main intended target at first we had our eye on hanson aggregates (report to follow on that) and we stumbled upon this after we,d explored hanson
cant find any history on it but looks like it was used to transport trains across with there being tracks running down the middle....could be wrong
the only info i found was that this part of the dock used to be called nelson gate south so called it nelson swing bridge seems only right i think
