Russia Any Tips?

Hi All, We are doing 16 days in Russia next month. Split between Moscow and St Petersburg. Any tips or advice?

Sorry @AlexUrbex1 no proper advice because I've never been but if you believe what you see in the media just on things like protests the Russian police seem a bit stricter than here, see recent link below as an example, so maybe you're less likely to get an "on yer way now laddy" than here so I would want to be a bit careful if I was looking at stuff in more urban areas

Trespass is a criminal offence in Russia with big penalties, really recommend trying to find a local to talk to about it.
