St Julie’s is a large RC secondary school in Woolton. A smart new school was built in 2017 right next door to the old one, most of which was then demolished leaving only a few blocks, including a chapel, at the rear. Junior and myself first visited the remains of the old school in Apr 2017 but managed to set off an alarm and scarpered. I went back recently to record the rest. Not that there’s much to see - its mostly stripped, presumably awaiting redevelopment. St Julie by the way is known as ‘The Smiling Saint’, and was apparently fond of rather gnomic sayings.
