I've been a bit obsessed with this roof and basement gym since seeing @GRONK report on it last year, I'd find myself endlessly scrolling the hotels staff only areas trying to find access. It's an eye opener seeing the conditions of the staff only areas of the hotel, some of the maintenance rooms...
The Lexington (tallest in the picture) 👀
Did this with @urbexing_uk at about evening. Snuck in and took the stairs up to the top.
According to the police we sparked up quite a response, which was fun! Got away with our names taken...
November 2023
The Visit
Together with @stranton and @coolboyslim, I had the opportunity to explore the George Henry Lee Building, situated near Williamson Square in the heart of the city. This magnificent structure has been providing shoppers with an impressive 14,000 square metres of retail...
November 2023
The visit
Following my dive into the Adelphi's Gym & Spa earlier this year, I've been keen to explore this vast building in more detail. I did this one on a lovely clear day with @stranton and @coolboyslim on the way back to the car following a visit to a neighboring derp. Whilst...
Thought I'd stick this mini-explore up as it's something different, but nothing particularly amazing. Also, the photos sadly suffered where I left my tripod behind to free up mobility, but I regret it looking back as the high ISO has absolutely mullered them.
The History
In 1895, a memorial...
Vauxhall Sky Gardens – 2015
Visited in the summer of 2015. Long hot summers, remember those?

“Fraser Property Development UK proposed plans for Sky Gardens in 2008, designed by Amin Taha Architects and...
I couldn't find much history of this place, I only just found out that it was a hospital - at first I thought it was some sort of office building. The building is located in an industrial area with many similar abandoned buildings, underneath the building there is also a nuclear bunker which is...
Colmore Row Rooftop, 2015 Birmingham’s highest office building.
103 Colmore Row, formerly known as National Westminster House, was a building on Colmore Row, Birmingham, England. The original building was designed by John Madin and was completed in October 1975 as offices and a banking hall for...
History:
Balfron Tower in Poplar, East London, was completed in 1967, and designed by architect Ernö Goldfinger. The tower itself is actually part of a much larger area, known as the Brownfield Estate, which was completed 6 years prior to Balfron Tower, all designed in the same traditional 60's...
Background Information:
Construction on the Finsbury Tower in Islington, London, first began in September 2018 and is set to be completed by August 2021.
Originally, the site was home to an old disused 1960's office block, but with the need for space in London increasing daily, the construction...
Having grown up in this area I was keen to get up on the flats to see the estate from above - I was able to see two of my old houses, as well as the Birmingham skyline further on in the distance. This was just a quick visit to end a good day of exploring with @plod and @jellyfish. Bellfield...
Rooftopping in Bristol - Castlemead, Lower Castle Street
Castlemead with adjoining NCP car park in front, and the Eclipse Tower behind
Castlemead is the tallest (finished) high rise building in Bristol. I say finished because as of a few months ago, the core of the Castle Park View high rise...
Rooftopping in Bristol - Colston Tower, City Centre
The tower - as viewed from the Raddison Blu hotel
Colston Tower is an 18 storey office building in the centre of Bristol. It's 63m high, which is 1m shorter than One Redcliff - another high rise in the city centre. It sits at position number...
Rooftopping in Bristol - The Haymarket Premier Inn (City Centre)
One of the tallest buildings in Bristol just so happens to be this - a rather grotty looking Premier Inn hotel. Construction started on the building in 1969 and it opened in 1972 as Avon House, to be used by the Avon County...
Plymouth Civic Centre in 8mm
After a very early start and the largest coffee that Costa sold, we were in Britain's favourite seaside town - Plymouth. Having only recently been made aware of this building's existence, I didn't really know what to expect. I find that's often the best approach...
another boring night so another mission, this time it was nice to view the city from a more central point of view
looking down at the principal clock tower which you don't get to do often.
oxford road station from above
looking over towards central library
the view towards...
"I reckon that one's possible, my mate got 15 people up there recently!"... famous last words.
The initial plan for the evening was to return to a rooftop in Whitechapel that my mate and I had recently accessed, but, after making it up to the 25th floor, we were quick to realise that the...
"Oh well, there's always plan B just down the road"... and plan B is exactly what we resorted to!
After our initial target for the day didn't quite work out, we made the decision to give one of our backup locations a bash. That being a 25 story tower block...how spectacular!
Constructed in...
So here we were, standing 225ft above the capital on an exceptionally blustery night...what could possibly go wrong?
Once at the top, what it lacks in height, it makes up for in uninterrupted views of the square mile...
All in all, a cracking little mission.
4 teenagers + 400ft of concrete = fun times :))
After heading uptown one sunny afternoon with no particular intention, we thought we'd try the impossible...the almighty Barbican towers!
I'd heard a lot from various members of the London rooftop scene about how difficult entry to the towers...
