HISTORY: This is a council building built a long time ago, idk when. I don't really know the history, nor do the people who I've asked. I've managed to search a bit and found out that the building stood there since 1988 and it says "committee approval date 1965" idk what that means, maybe it's been build in 1965. Anyway here's an image of it in 1988. It's a 10 story building, most of the things that should be in the dwellings were removed by the demo guys. There is a little Slough legend that the last guy who lived there refused to move out and was paid money to move out! He didn't move out for like over 6 years if I remember well. What a mad lad.
The place most probably has asbestos because yesterday I saw workers in red suits and a liquid for asbestos removal.
It's very different now. (^1988 picture)
Side and front view of the exterior or the ashbourne house.
Some pics from the inside. It has marvellous views on the roof, but the roof is nearly impossible to access if u don't have a mate or some sort of ladder. Overall very fun experience there, nice visit, solid 7/10 spot. More pics put on attachments, feel free to ask any questions.
