We bobbed in for a look at this little chapel while on our way to another location after seeing some of the other reports on it, most recently covered by @HughieD .

Theres not a lot of history online, it was first built in in 1805 and then rebuilt in 1843 to accommodate 100 people. The Chapel had fallen into disuse by 2002.

The Chapel sits directly on the side of the A458 and finding a spot to park is a pain. Access is very easy, sadly the Chapel is quite trashed compared to earlier reports. It was very bright when we visited and the lighting in the church made getting decent pics without glare very challenging.

The 3rd photo down is fantastic!
I know what you mean about parking. It's an absolute pain. In the end I dumped it on the road right outside with the 'park anywhere' lights on.

It's one of those places that now really could do with a bit of a tidy up inside and all the broken pieces of wood being chucked in the outbuilding to make it look better.

Nice to see an update here, completely agree about the glare coming through the windows, it's an absolute nightmare - either way you've managed to get some good shots!

Agree, the smashed pews make it look messy.
