im new to this btw....

When i first drove past this site and saw the main tower that pertrudes the skyline with that tiny bit of graff on the top, it grabbed my attention. i had to explore

From what i have reasearched it is the former headquarters of the ECCLES RUBBER AND CYCLE COMPANY, and was destroyed in a fire back in 2007.

these pics were taken about this time last year so i don't know how the site is now, or whether it has had any plans for demolishing. a source had stated it was going to be flattened and turned into some kind of hotel, but again i can't confirm that is true.

ok, this one was a bit weird, it was pitch black in this tiny little room under the stairs so i stuck my flash on and took a blind picture. looking back at the picture on the camera i saw the text ''i was burned in here''.
im told the building was burnt to an early grave so im not gonna lie that it spooked me a little bit lollol.

Ive got more pictures of this site, didnt wanna overload on the first post, if anyone does wanna see some more let me know...

quite a eerie sight, pitch black on the inside so i needed a torch. no one for company except a few pigeons.

It was the former Cooperative weights and scales factory, and was in use by the Co-op till the late 90's.

Was a great explore before a disastrous fire a few years back.

No tower access these days?

Some good images there. Really enjoyed them. Don't see why they should attract any negative comment. If you can't say something nice, shut up. We're supposed to be urban explorers, not professional photographers. Well done!

The building is gone, demolished, only the front wall has been left standing. They are probably going to use it as a façade for whatever will be built on the site.
