Might not be worth buying the 50 if you have the 35.
My 50mm almost became redundant once I had my Sigma 30mm...

I shall pay a visit to jessops this weekend and its out of the 35mm and the 50mm, I'm leaning towards the 35mm right about now but that changes on a daily basis. Thank you

If you have a crop sensor, you'll probably find the 35mm more useful than the 50mm.

That's good advice, similarly my 50mm came into it's own when I upgraded from crop sensor to full frame.

As said above get the 35 if that what you have your heart set on buy that first then decide from there if you think you will need the 50...

Its a great lens, I also have a D3300 and got the Nikon 35mm 1.8 DX lens for Christmas partys. MASSIVELY impressed with it. Good at low light and build quality is great to. I got mine as a Grey import off eBay and saved a fair amount.
