all in all an interesting day, met some graff artist in blackley and they said they'd seen "crack the surface" and visited forums, interesting to know its not just us guys watching that stuff

The company who used this place was 'Wilkinsons of Elland', started by Samuel Wilkinson and his sons Fred and Arthur were managers. In 1983 the company was taken over by Butterly Bricks and the site closed in 1985.
The quarry is now used as a land fill site and some storage of clay for 'W.T.Knowles'
Visited with Mr Beady and Badbatz after an interest day roaming yorkshire looking for some explores, few interesting moments including me chatting up a blonde at a bus stop with the immortal "scuse me but do you know what time it is" chat up line and everyone craning to look every time we drove past a pretty girl. and an 8 year old.The quarry is now used as a land fill site and some storage of clay for 'W.T.Knowles'
