Some mad fisheye action going on there, nice set of pictures.

...What's with the pipework in the spa?
...Looks very heavy duty, and wouldn't be out of place in a mine?

Thanks, was running out of light and was dark in spa, just left fisheye on.

Can remember them repairing leaks etc and there was an argument with Nestle about the water that run through for there bottled water, maybe had something to-do with it.

Cart, no idea! Was deep in the cellar/basement and like a tunnel/bridge, maybe headed over road to Spa. Ill do some homework later.

Was it Nestle who demolished the beautiful neo-Egyptian pwoerhouse at Cowdale? I'm still gutted I never went when I had the chance to :(

That cart is so intriguing. Good set all round, What's going on with the place?
Thank pal, well under refurbishment now. Under arm guard too i think, not been for a good year.

Love these carts, cant find much info on it.

Fair play, I'm tired and gullible first thing in the morning! I will have a read around the area though

Great photo of the abandoned wagons, with a glimpse of a second one in the background. I am carrying out research into the wagons and railways under the Crescent and have yet to find any photos of the abandoned wagons. Would it be possible to see any other photos from your visit that include wagons or the tracks on which they ran?

The wagons have been or are in the process of being restored. Sets of photos were done as found and during restoration as far as I'm aware. Ask at the George round the corner for Andrew and he will help you out I'm sure. Unless the George has now been finished (I moved away 2 years ago) in which case ask for Jonathan at the crescent itself.

Thanks. The wagons have been restored and are displayed in the re-opened hotel lobby and also in the spa entrance. I will enquire of the contacts that you have provided.
In addition, I am interested in understanding the arrangement of the underground railway track(s) and so wanted to know whether, in the short time available to you, whether you had time to take more photos underground of rooms or corridors which included abandoned track.

While ago this visit, I'll struggle to find any extra photos of the wagons. Loved them things 👍 I'll have a look on my drives next week 🤞

I didn't know they had finished them, they look good.
Andrew will be able to tell you all you need/want to know if he's still around. If the George has finished he will be gone in which case I could ring him
Andrew was in charge of the whole project and moved on the the George after the hotel opened.
Jonathan is in charge of the hotel or was before I moved down south 18 months ago.
