Castleside school
An accidental find between two other sites while on a day trip exploring some of what the north east has to offer, the school seems to had been disused for an extended period of time, although was still maintained by the school that replacement directly adjacent to the site until the mid 2010s when the building seemed to become more derelict. the building dates back well over 100 years, with pre-war pictures of the site available online here. The building while largely stripped had some lovely older features that made the decay look photogenic, arguably alot prettier on the eye than alot of the more modern abandoned schools that have popped up recently.
