Not a bad first report. Did your boy enjoy the outing? As Oort says history is a must, covered or not really. Also can I ask as I seriously dont know, which area is this please. Not that I intend to go, but I do like to know where explores are. Im guessing Essex as per your user name, but which area as im nosey lol.

As for lockdown, so many people exploring again now, it is a really grey area, and we will never be told when we can explore again, so I personally think discretion is needed now and pros & cons. As explores we always weigh the risks anyway, so my stance is different to last mth, live & let live.

Thank you and I appriciate the feedback, my boy absolutely loved it! He cant wait for another outing so am currently drawing up plans for the next expedition. I will be sure to add more.history next time, I just didnt want to bore people.
This is in Halstead in Essex, out of respect I wont pinpoint where but I'm sure it would be easy to work out should you want to go there.

I agree with your point regarding lockdown. It's a grey area but given the situation I wouldnt venture too far from home and I wouldnt do anything potentially dangerous. As with all things in life discretion is key.
