Its been a while since I posted anything here so I thought I'd share something from a few years ago. Its not mega epicness but it doesn't seem to have been posted on here before.
From what I can gather this building is older than it looks from the outside. It was modernised in the late 40's/early 50's with a tiled frontage. Around that time it was home to Craven Dairies, one of many smaller independent companies in the area which later got amalgamated into Associated Dairies & Farm Stores. This would later become ASDA. The most recent usage of it was the UK head office of MD Foods (which became Arla Foods) before they relocated to a brand new out-of-town site. That relocation happened in March 2004 so its been redundant for quite some time.
I was aware of this site as I had driven past it countless times on my brain-numbing commute along Kirkstall Road, in and out of Leeds city centre. After a few reccies I realised some improvisation was needed. So I hatched a plan which involved a sketchy climb and a risk of my entry being spotted by security next door. Luckily for me the plan worked and the whole operation went like clockwork.
While I was looking through these photos a couple of things sprang to mind. 1. Some of them could have done with being a bit sharper. 2. I could also have named it fifty shades of green.
