Report - Cross Lee PLC White Knight factory, Halifax - July 2020

This is my first post, I’ve been meaning to post other explores recently. I am a novice! I drove past and realised the site was being demolished, went to investigate. After having a chat with the owners son, he told me to come back on Saturday when the demo machines were off and smile sweetly at the security guard. I went back today... and just was let in alone. I apologise the pics were only taken on my iPhone8 and I was a bit nervy being a single woman on my own in such a huge site. It’s being demolished now... so I posted some pics in the hope someone who’s got more than an hour and is not an 8 stone single woman will go back very soon before it’s gone!
This is the factory owned by Crosslee PLC who manufacturer White Knight white goods, I thought they just made tumble driers!! It was built in the 1980s and employed up to 700 people until very recently, 14th May 2020 according to the reception sign!. I didn’t even know it was being demolished. The company is moving to a new site apparently.
The lighting wasn’t great so sorry for pic quality.
I would love to go back with a friend as I didn’t hang around long, it’s massive and a bit creepy on your own!
I decided to post so quickly in the hope someone would go do a more explore before it’s all gone! Any suggestions on better pics would be appreciated and sorry if I have done anything wrong in terms of posting, it’s my first one

Thank you. Not sure I posted it in the right place but I just wanted to share so someone else can hopefully go and do a more thorough explore! There’s going to be even less of it left after tomorrow.

You did well, I get that feeling of exploring alone as a woman, its a bit un nerving. So big well done. Some good photos there too. Lots of history on this place.

Just one thing could you pop Halifax West Yorkshire in title bar along with July 20 please. Its how we keep track of places and how they decay or dem`d etc plus forum rules. Then you golden. Welcome to 28 dl, good 1st report

Three little ball triangle in your title bar, if you click it, it should allow an edit, but now 24 hrs have passed Id leave it. We only get 24 hrs to edit a post. No worries, not thick at all, I did the same when I joined . Just info for next time now
