Well, hot on the heels of some of the stoke meet crew at the weekend, myself and lawrence decided to go and see doultons for ourselves as it looked such a craking site. So armed with access details to not only Doultons but nearly every site in staffordshire courtesy of alley
(many thanks for that) we hit Burslem and started poking about whilst we waited for Alley to join us which she did about halfway through our explore.
Man this place was good and full of interesting bits and pieces, old assorted samples of plates and cups, Kilns full with the last firing of pottery and paperwork and blueprints galore, its like a hoarders wet dream, all i can say is if youve not seen this place yet make it high on your list of priorities.
