Drain with a view - Trebarwith, Cornwall
Whilst sunning myself in Cornwall, I had intended to visit a couple of Roc posts.
However, the lure of the surf was too strong so I dragged the Mrs and the Boy
down to Trebarwith Strand...and low and behold..what do I find, but a drain.
So on holiday, half drunk and sunburnt, I decided to take a poke
You don't often get views like this in a drain report, that's Gull rock in the distance
Looking downstream and out towards the beach and surf hire
High stone walls guard the channel... the Mrs wouldn't let me go over the side
Inside It's a rather uninspiring 4ft concrete box section
But the view from Inside is really rather lovely...I wish all drains had this view
Finally, the water meets the Sea, and I get to sit on a rock with a big ice cream
