1968 Closure
One for the dedicated ROC Post hunter only, I have visited this site three times waiting for the brambles to die back. Someone has made a concentrated effort to make this post vanish by dumping tons of gardening waste and tree cuttings on top. I finally crunched through it all to see the hatch sitting there under masses of junk.
The access hatch has been very firmly secured with a three pronged steel bar and bolted and welded into place so no access underground. The vent still sits proud on the edge of the compound. Some fencing also remains.
