I came across this place ages ago, but only now have I finally got around to doing a full explore. It's not the most interesting place in the world, being composed mainly of large empty rooms, but it nevertheless has a certain charm that is always found in buildings of this age, whatever the purpose. If anyone knows anything about the history of the place and what it was used for, I would be interested.
Anyway, on with the pictures:
Evidence of rather naughty activities:
In the basement. Sorry the pictures are so bad. It's a large place, and my torch was too dim to lightpaint it properly.
The offices. I was surprised to find a number of foxes living here. I wouldn't have thought that they'd be good at climbing the stairs.
Now this is the strangest thing in the entire place. Behind the doors of what looked like a electrical cupboard around the side of the place is this room. What on earth is this stuff doing here? I can't imagine how it was any use - surely there was no power?
Oh, here's a Flashearth link. As you can see, it's a big place.
