Although recently visited by steamy, it fitted in with our plans to visit another of our local-ish ROC posts just to strike another one in cheshire off the list, plus having seen steamys report we knew this one was in decent if not amazing condition. So with this in mind myself and Lawrence made the 40 mile or so journey to the crewe area to take a look.
Its not a particularly easy one to find this from the directions on the subbrit site but we found it at the second attempt, parked up and wandered the 500 yards or so to the post.
Sub brit notes the site opened in arpril 1959 and closed in october 1968.
Certainly worth a visit if youre in the area, its got the best collection of artefacts ive seen in a post in cheshire so far.
