Visited with Seffy.
We planned to hit a few sites in the day before pulling an all nighter in London, this being one of them. However, we left a little late and once we got this this place it was getting dark. We headed in nonetheless but didn't even bother getting our cameras out. The next day, soaking wet, we returned. But what with the miserable weather and time of day we were again short of daylight. Despite this we made of it what we could. The main thing to really see here is the cells, where we spent most of the visit.

History:
Farnham Police Station is situated on the edge of the town centre, alongside the river Wey. Built in 1963, the station has a large car park to the rear, with several garages that are connected to the main building. On the other side of the car park is six semi-detached houses that now lie derelict as they were used as accommodation by officers stationed there. The station closed in 2012 after being earmarked for closer in 2011 alongside another fourteen stations. The reason was because they were being under-used, someone times only receiving one visitor a day.
