The Fish Farm
History
I couldn't find too much history on this location, it was a rambling house that was converted into a fish breeding farm in 1952 and was refurbished in 2003. Both owners passed away in 2018 and the shop had to close, the house has remained in probate ever since, it gained a good reputation within fisheries circles until it closed it's doors in 2018. The property was handed down to family members but has been left derelict ever since.

Words can’t describe how beautiful this location is, having trouble finding a way in and after looking around the property for 15 minutes, we noticed a way over and into the back of the house, one of my favourite explores to date only because of the scenery and the nature of the house, the explore took us about 3 hours taking hundreds of pictures and taking in the beautiful house and pond, no interruptions for the whole evening made the explore easy which meant more and better pictures!
I can only imagine what the house would have looked like before it closed, sitting in the conservatory on the loungers and looking over the pond, I’ve decided now this is my dream house, we stayed for a while, made our way through the house and upstairs, glad to see no graffiti or vandalism inside the property, only a couple of smashed windows.
I hope the house is renovated and kept as beautiful as it was years ago.
