The post is situated on the south side of Lighthouse Road, east of a field boundary. The site has been partially buried in soil and has become grassed over. The surface structures are in tact with the ventilation louvres missing from the ventilation shaft. Opened in 1960 and closed in 1968.

The hatch is unlocked, however the counter-balance weight is missing.
The monitoring room is mostly empty apart from some rubble and a few original remaining items, including parts of a metal bunk bed frame, ventilation louvres, corrugated iron sheets, and a detached door.
