So I revisited this place very local to me, just to get myself back out there really after a few years away from the exploring scene.
Climbing over the fence and making my way through the brambles, and finding the entrance again I soon felt like I'd never been away from it.... Bug certainly caught again!
Crete Road / Silver Springs Reservoir, Construction work was completed on July 1866, It's said to have fed the Silver Springs Soft Drinks Company with water although there is some other history out there which is a bit different to this, There are two tanks, Each approx 88ft long and lined with cement, They are connected by arch ways.
Pics aren't too bad, but still getting the hang of my new camera.
But I definitely enjoyed my little excursion and will be hopefully putting more stuff up soon 👍
