Late last year, on returning from a holiday in York, I stopped off at North Selby Mine. I was fully aware that the majority of the site was ripped down years ago, but I heard there was a small pump / processing room which had been left for some reason so had a look. I love the green colours of the pipes. And as an extra treat, saw several Philips MA90 sox lamps, which are now obviously disconnected.

I was going to do a report on this place but I decided that it was probably not worth it as there is kids and goons breaking into there and trashing the place every other day, and it is probably best not to encourage them with pictures of what history they could ruin next.
