Report - Gorseinon Infant School, Swansea - March 2025

The second school of my solo weekend in South Wales earlier in the year, I saw this place pop up as a L&R a couple of months ago and made a mental note to stop in and take a look whenever I was in the area. Unsurprisingly, there is virtually no history of this place online and, after spending a good hour searching, I've drawn a blank. From historic street view images, it looks like the school building was in use until the end of the 2017 academic year, when pupils were relocated to other schools in the area. The building is in a fairly dilapidated state with evidence of local youth infiltration in every room. That said, there are a few nice parts remaining with a lot of the corridors displaying some natural decay as well as a very photogenic main hall.
