stopped off to visit this place last week whilst on way to Middlesbrough with work. nice easy to find post, the hatch to the post is open with the lid still attached although displaced. the surface features have seen better days with the vent shaft broken, and the paint is all peeling and damaged.
internally the this place is still intact to a certain degree but sadly there is also lots of water which is about 4"-5" deep, as for items left in there, there are quite a few still left, matress, pots and pans, cupboard, table, BPI mount, light, thermometer, lots of paperwork although quite a lot is unreadable now due to the damp, earthing straps are still in situe, and many more items on the desk in the cupboards and in the water which i should point out as a note to others who may visit the post. it absolutely stinks rotten.
but that been said it was still a worthwhile visit, on with the pictures and thank you for looking
