As a first post im going to do my best here,
it starts as me and a friend meet up at highgate. To our knowledge the surface level part of station hasnt been used since 1954. While closed off its lingered on top allowing vegetation to fester yet power has remained running and i believe it is still accessed by some maintenance or something.
Apparently it used to be very easy to get to, barely a fence and people went all the time it was barely a spot to know about, but within a year or so a high fence has been erected.
as we get in we come to the tunnels arriving on our left past trees and vegetation. as you can see they are blocked off with iron bars and i think locked, at the time i didnt have a way of getting past this lock, we turned arround coming to the platforms,
we are greeted with what seems to be generators or just general electrics, nothing exciting going on for us
and then we get some nice shots, i think they took the rails and left what lies beneath them there which is why the floor below the platform looks like that.
these are the right and left sides of the surface respectivly:
then we finally peer at the staircase that leads to the in use part of the station, we didnt feel brave enough to go infront for fear of beein seen from the other side, theres only a metal grate seperating them.
and that pretty much rounds it all up, one of the first explorations i have done and getting in proved a challenge but all is well that ends well, thank you for your time in reading.it starts as me and a friend meet up at highgate.
