All blast furnaces have been "temporarily" shut down in Belgium due to the financial crisis.
Yesterday 21/07 was the national day here, maintenance teams (and security) were reduced to the minimum, right time to take a look inside one of the largest active steel mill.
I did not plan to climb the blast furnace at first but when I get close to these monsters I'm kind of attracted and cannot resist
