First of massive thanks to the raw for the heads up, a message to say that he'd been in started the ball rolling for us, a weekend visit from Mr bones and dmax led to us all heading down [myself, Cheryl, Chris R and Lisa].
On arrival we checked out the main entrance, way to much activity around to even risk it, from what we'd seen we didnt want to spoil the chance of getting in by being lazy, back on the road and a rethink, bit of goggle maps and we worked out a plan, a long walk but it was a nice sunny day, much clambering fences and wading through stingers we was on the right track.
First real close look at Kinmel was pretty stunning, gardens laid out with a impressive water fountain, with the back drop of the hall, hard to believe this amazing building has been left rotting away.
After a bit of cat and mouse hiding in the gardens we was standing by the access point that Damo gave us, recently sealed, time to get the thinking caps on, a possible access was found but it would be used as a last resort if all else failed, cut a long story short we didn't need the ballache access as we nearly fell into a decent way in.
