As a Librarian it really saddens me to see the state of some Carnegie's magnificent buildings on this site, I note that at some point the council felt it a good idea to paint white gloss over the decorative tiles !

Good news for this one - renovation is well underway.

Everton Library, an equally fine building although not Carnegie is still derelict though.
