History
The airfield was previously RAF Long Marston a Royal Air Force station used for training during the Second World War. It operated from the year 1941 to 1954. The station closed during 1954.
Our Visit
It had been a while since we ventured out far to an urbex so we decided to make the most of the day and go down to the airfield after seeing many amazing reports on them. It was an easy but tiring explore and was most definitely worth the long drive.
